Surviving the Aftermath of Hurricane Sandy

I think it goes without being said that the Northeast Coast has been through a lot over the course of the last week. Hurricane Sandy took many of us by surprise, including myself, with all the catastrophic damage it caused. As a result, many of us are awaiting word on the conditions of our homes or if we’ll have jobs when all the debris is cleared.

In order to make your lives just a little bit easier, S-FX.com wants to reassure you that your websites have remained up and running throughout this entire disaster and will continue to remain that way. Many of our servers are located throughout the US specifically in the case of a disaster such as what we’ve experienced this past week.

In the mean time, if there is anything we can do to assist your business during this trivial time, please do not hesitate to reach out. Whether it be posting notices on your website or helping you salvage some of your technology equipment – we are here to help.

After a successful, albeit exhausting, trip into New York City last week for the Market Technician’s Association‘s 2012 Annual Symposium, we’re finally back and settled in to our Lavallette, NJ location.

My participation in the Annual Symposium was the culmination of over 8 months of preparation, marketing, and planning. The event was held at the absolutely beautiful Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, in Manhattan. We were lucky enough to get a stunning sunset to accompany our afternoon cocktail reception.

That’ll be it for me and commuting into New York City for quite some time. A five hour round trip commute, I will not miss!
